The academic year functions in 2 semesters.
The First Semester if from June to Mid-November.
The Second Semester is from Mid-November to Mid-April
Fees must be remitted on or before 31st July for Odd Semester, on or before 31st January for Even semester.
The number of days per semester is prescribed as 90 working days spread over 15 weeks.
Classes start at 9.30 a.m and end with 3.20p.m with a break of twenty minutes.
The classes function on a six-day order scheme with five hours per day.
Students have to be in the campus by 9.20 a.m for the daily prayer and announcements.
Students are expected to be in the class and maintain silence during prayer.
Students must have earned 75% of attendance in each course for appearing for the examination.
Students who have earned 74% to 60% of attendance are intended to apply for Condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred).
Students who have earned 59% to 51% of attendance are intended to apply for Condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred) along with the medical certificate.
Students who have earned below 50% attendance re not eligible to appear for the examination and they shall re-do the semester(s) after completion of the course, with the prior permission of the registrar of the University.
Promptness and regularity are the main steps to success. The college insists upon a regular attendance. Students should fulfill the minimum requirement of attendance as fixed by the university to be eligible for their semester examinations.
Attendance at General Assemblies, College Programmes of Functions is compulsory.
No students will be permitted to attend class if late by tem minutes.
If late, permission is to be obtained from the principal or the person authorized for the purpose.
A student absenting for class without permission will suffer loss of attendance for the full day.
Leave form must be sent in the prescribed format.
It must be dully signed by the parents/ Guardian or Hostel Warden for the hostel students.
In case of illness, the absence is required to submit the medical certificate.
Continued absence without due reason and leave will render the student liable for suspension or the name be removed from the roll.
Every student of the college is entrusted with the responsibility to uphold the values of womanhood by her good nature, behavior and decorum. A Star Student must:
Endeavour to create an atmosphere of friendly and cordial relationships.
Students must maintain silence inside the college campus and be attentive in classes, meetings and any other gatherings.
Respect superiors and seniors and be polite and courteous to all.
Students are expected to wear clothes, which are simple and modest. No student will be allowed to wear short, flimsy and tight clothes.
Keep the classrooms and college premises clean and belongings neat and tidy.
Regard the college property as one’s own a handle the properly.
Every student of this college is expected to wear the identity card while entering the campus and till leaving the campus.
You can make use of the identity card to get bus, air or train tickets on concession or to become a member of public libraries or to receive scholarship.
Students can park their two wheelers in the specified area and requested to wear helmet while riding.
As per Government rule and court rule, Ragging in any form is a serious offence and strict action will be taken against those indulging in it.
Students indulging in malpractice during tests and exams will be punished as per university rules.
Read notice on the notice board. Ignorance of information will not be accepted as an excuse for failing to comply with it.
Parents are requested to co-operate with the college authorities in enforcing punctuality and regularity in attendance.
We will report regularly about attendance and marks obtained by the students in tests.
Parents are expected to come in person for the open day to receive the marks statement and meet teachers to discuss about the progress of their awards.
Parents are welcome at any time whenever they want to meet the teachers.
Warning letters will be sent to the parents of the students who are irregular to college.
When invitations are sent for college functions, we appreciate your presence.
All matters pertaining to the Hostel should be referred to the Wardens.
After any holiday, the Hostilities are expected to be in the campus, the evening prior to the reopening day.
Any damage to Hostel property shall be charged from the students/ group who are responsible.
A student who wishes to leave/vacate the hostel should obtain a written permission from principal.
Keep Hostel premises clean and make Hostel life more pleasant.
Participation in fashion shows/ modeling outside the college is not permitted.
Prior permission from the principal is required for orations or public talks outside the college.
Usage of Mobiles phone, unrelated books, magazines, reading materials is prohibited and punishable.
Students should not encourage unwanted communications or intimations.
Letters addressed to students to the college are subjected to scrutiny.
Collections or subscription of any kind without the knowledge of the principal is strictly banned.
Student should not include in activities leading to the disruption of peace and discipline in the college.
